Janet S. Brenenstuhl

Hoosick Falls – Janet S. Brenenstuhl, 81, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She was the wife of Gordon Brenenstuhl, whom she married in 1949.
Born on December 6, 1929, in Hoosick Falls, NY, Janet was the daughter of the late Floyd and Emily (Maxon) Woodard. She was educated at schools in Hoosick Falls and was formerly employed at the Undergarment and Albany Felt Company, both in Hoosick Falls. Janet was a member of the Eagles Aerie #2467 and the St. Stanislaw Society, both in Hoosick Falls, the Moose Lodge in Bennington, VT, and the American Legion in Cambridge, NY.
Janet enjoyed bowling and playing pitch.
Survivors, other than her husband Gordon, include two daughters, Paige Brenenstuhl and Steve Marcoux of Hoosick Falls and Tambra Gaucher and husband Jeff of Eagle Bridge, NY, a son, Robert Brenenstuhl and wife Valerie of Walloomsac, NY, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Vevia Woodard.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 12, at 7 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the F.O.E. Diabetes Foundation through the funeral home.
