Mother’s Day Basket Raffle
The Friends of the Library are holding a Mother’s Day Basket Raffle.  Stop by and take a chance on a beautiful basket for yourself or your favorite mom. Contents have a retail value of over $75 and include Harry and David’s jams, Guylian chocolates, a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card, stationery, a lavender scented bath collection including bath salts and gel, a lavender Yankee Candle, a $5 gift certificate for use at the SML’s annual Book Festival, this year to be held on July 9, and many other lovely items. Tickets cost $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing will be held at noon on Thursday, May 5.
Friends Of The Library Meet
The Friends’ next meeting is Monday, May 9, at 7 pm at the Library. New members are always welcome. Current projects include planning for the Tastefully Simple party to be held Thursday, May 2 at 7 pm and our continued work on the Book Festival scheduled for Saturday, July 9.
