Stephentown VFD Events

April 8, 2011 By eastwickpress

On Saturday April 9 the Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department will join in an initiative with volunteer fire departments all across the state at their respective firehouses for a unified recruitment drive as part of National Volunteer Week 2011. Not only will Recruit NY be an opportunity to highlight the duties and rewards that come with being a volunteer firefighter or EMT, it will also raise public awareness about the need for volunteers.
Join us at the Stephentown fire station on Route 43 between 10 am and noon for a station tour and to learn more about volunteering opportunities.
Roast Beef Dinner
The Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Roast Beef Dinner fund-raiser on Saturday, April 16, from 4 to 7 pm in the Stephentown Fire Hall at #35 Grange Hall Road in Stephentown.
Dinner includes hot roast beef, vegetables and dessert. Adult and take-out dinners cost $10; children age 6-10 will be charged $7; youth under 6 eat for free at the Fire Hall.
