A special piano concert will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Baptist Church to benefit the mission work of the Hodges family to the poor in Tororo, Uganda. Paul Hodges grew up in the area and is a graduate of Berlin High School. He met his wife Karen at the International Accelerated Missions School in 2000, and they were married in 2001.
Paul will be helping to oversee the teaching and worship ministry at the House of Prayer in

Uganda. He will also be working with short-term mission trips into unreached areas of Africa. Working in very practical ways, Karen will be sharing the love of Christ through the use of her medical skills as an LPN. She will be running a clinic for the poorest people. Their goals include “raising up youth missionaries and mobilizing them to go to the unreached people groups of North Africa” and “binding up the broken-hearted both physically and spiritually through a medical clinic serving the native Karamajong tribe.” The clinic will serve these desperately needy people, focusing on the orphans and widows.
There is no admission cost for the concert, but a free will offering will be encouraged and accepted for the many outgoing expenses and medical supplies.
