The Berlin Free Town Library is holding a raffle to raise funds for the library: think spring with our Basket of Garden Goodies Raffle!
Our basket has an approximate value of $150. Packed in a lined, collectible 8″x 8″ Longaberger basket are a cheerful reusable travel mug, handy gardening gloves, a gift certificate for a home improvement store, several seed packets of both flowers and vegetables, locally made maple syrup, horseradish jelly, a delightful handmade necklace and a bottle of wine to relax when the work is done. The crowning glory of this lovely basket is the collection of gladioli corms to continue the return of the ‘glads’ to the Taconic valley.
The basket is on display at the Berlin Free Town Library. Tickets cost $5 each and are available during library hours. The drawing will be held on June 4. The lucky winner will be notified by the Library.
