As a baserunner, it is generally not a good sign when you are trying to advance to third base and the third baseman is standing there with the ball waiting for you to arrive. In action from last Monday at Hoosic Valley, Karley Morin waits to put the tag on the baserunner, who was out by the proverbial mile. The Lady Panthers went on to post a 4 - 0 victory in the game. Carsen Williams had a triple, and Rachel Quackenbush pitched the win. Later in the week, the Ladies traveled to Lansingburgh to finish a rained out tournament date there. Hoosick Falls defeated Lansingburgh 2 - 0 to become the tourney champs. Katie Kovage pitched the Panthers to that win. The team now sports a 7 - 1 record. Photo by Steve Bradley.
