Cadette Girl Scout Troop 1174 recycled 96 pounds of batteries at ERCSWMA Hazardous Waste Collection day. The troop has been recycling batteries for their communities in the Berlin and Stephentown
area for three years and has recycled over 500 pounds of batteries so far. Bins are placed around the community, at Bank of America and the libraries, where you can drop off your household batteries, ink cartridges and cell phones.
