This summer, Theresa Zema of the Cornell Cooperative Extension will present “Magic Bubbles” on Tuesdays at 10:30 am at the New Lebanon Library. The program, which is oriented to school-aged children, will begin on June 28 and continue through August 2.
Children will experiment with different “homemade” bubble solutions and make their own bubble blowers, while learning that it takes air to make bubbles and that water has a special force or “stick-togetherness.” This learning opportunity will enhance youth science skills of observing, communicating, comparing and measuring. To register, please contact the New Lebanon Library at 518-794-8844 by June 24.
The New Lebanon Library is located at 550 State Route 20, ¼ mile north of the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Routes 20/22.
