June 17, 2011 By eastwickpress

The Poestenkill Historical Society’s Annual Concert On The Green will be held on Tuesday, June 28, from 6:45 to 8:15 pm on  Poestenkill’s Town Green.
This year we have a duo known as “Lost Radio Rounders.” They were formerly known as the “Gospel Train.” Tom and Michael have been playing Historic American music together for over 25 years. Their concert this year will be “American Favorite Ballad Songs From Folkways.” These would include Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, Pete Seeger and many more. Tom and Michael performed for us in June of 2008 when because of rain we moved inside to standing room only. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and come and enjoy this year’s Concert On The Green with your family and friends. The Concert-On-The-Green is a great time for all.The Concert is free and refreshments of homemade cookies and punch will be provide by the Historical Society.
