Book Festival
The annual Book Festival will be held Saturday, July 9, from 9 am to 3 pm. (The rain date is July 10.)
In addition to our usual splendid assortment of books, DVDs, VHS tapes, discs, (all bargain priced) baked goods and hotdogs and hamburgers, this year we are expanding to include other food items at our “Barbecue Bistro” (veggie burgers, fruit cups, SoCo ice cream) and inviting community groups, craftspeople and other vendors to join in the fun. To date, we have vendors from Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef and Longaberger joining us in addition to the local Girl Scouts and the Stephentown Food Pantry.
If you, or your community group, would like to have a table at the Festival, at no cost, please contact Linda Smith at 733-6926 for more details.
Books will be priced at 50 cents for children’s books and paperbacks, $1 for hardbound books, DVDs, VHS tapes and discs.
Early birds are welcome at 8:30 am. for an entry fee of $10.
We hope to see you on July 9!
