50th Reunion Of The BCS Class Of 1961

July 15, 2011 By eastwickpress

On June 4, Bonita Maxon, Sylvia Thompson and Connie Goodermote planned a picnic which was held at the home of Bonita Maxon at the Dyken Pond. One third of our class met; some spouses attended. We had an enjoyable time meeting classmates that we had not seen since graduation 50 years ago. We held a raffle, shared much memorabilia and life experiences.
Twenty five years ago several of us donated money and Bill Strait one of our classmates of 1961 invested it and donated it back to the Alumni Association this year. From the funds of the class of 1961 two scholarships were presented to two graduating seniors at the Berlin Alumni Banquet.
We held a moment of silence for the deceased members of our class.
A great time was enjoyed by all who attended our reunion.
