Bonnie L. McClellan

Hoosick Falls – Bonnie L. McClellan, 62, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at her residence on Troy Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. She had resided there with her son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Laurie McCart.
Born on June 3, 1949, in Troy, NY, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys (McLucas) McClellan. She was educated at schools in Hoosick Falls and as a beautician at the Austin Beauty School. She enjoyed being a beautician. Bonnie worked more recently for the Department of Aging in Bennington, VT. She liked to bake candy cakes, and she liked her pet dogs and the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors, other than her son Jon and his wife Laurie, include her son, Jeremy McCart and wife Michelle of Washington State, her sister, Mary Lou Harrington of White Creek, NY, her brother, Harold McClellan, of Hoosick Falls, her aunt, Helen Foss of Greenwich, NY, and her uncle, Jack McLucas and wife Patty of Hoosick Falls. Bonnie is also survived by five grandchildren, McKenna, Jonathan, Danielle, Jackson and Jacob, and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by a sister, Kenna Bylina, and a nephew, Shane McClellan.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 1 pm from the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen McGovern Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
