Kirsimagi is nearing completion of his Eagle Scout service project dedicated to restoring the historic burial ground, resting place of several Revolutionary War soldiers. Kirsimagi has organized several work parties at the cemetery and has received instruction in gravestone cleaning and restoration from Joseph Ferrannini of Gravestone Matters. In addition to erecting the sign (designed and constructed by Montauk Signs Co. of Stephentown), for which he raised the funds, Kirsimagi and his work group spent a good part of a sweltering day on July 21 doing more cleaning up of the grounds and cleaning and straightening grave stones.
