George And Family Are Not Well

Wednesday, December 5, 1855: I am not very well
Thursday: This forenoon John F. helped James M. Glass to butcher three hogs. I am not very well.
Sunday: I am not so well. tonight I am very restless. Quite rainy.
Tuesday: I am feeble.
Wednesday: I am a little better. John Hatch butchered a beef cow this forenoon, and this afternoon John F. went with his two horse wagon to Lebanon and sold Simkins a hind quarter beef, 95 pounds at seven dollars per hundred.
Friday: I continue not so well, John F. unwell. This forenoon John Hatch butchered beef for Geo P.
Saturday: This morning I am better. Today at noon Susan Rowley died. Charlotte E. watched with Susan last night.
Monday: I went with my horse and wagon and carried my wife to the funeral of  Susan Rowley at the dwelling of her husband Erastus Rowley, Elder Conover preached, my children all went to the funeral.
Tuesday: I continue quite unwell and my wife is quite unwell with a cough. today John F. and John Hatch put up sheep yeard on the Rodgers farm. Today Egbert Jolls paid John F. nine dollars per hundred for five hundred 68 pounds of cheese.
