Marcia E. Jones

Berlin – Marcia E. Jones, 96, of Dyken Pond Road, Berlin, NY, died on Friday, July 22, 2011, at the home of her son after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Berlin, Marcia was the daughter of the late Milan and Lillian Loker Goodermote and wife of the late Robert E. Jones. Marcia had been a resident of Dyken Pond Road since 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Berlin Methodist Church.
Marcia was the sister of the late Margurite Littlefield and Calvin, Robert and Eugene Goodermote.
Survivors include her sons, Richard and wife Patricia Jones of East Poestenkill, NY, and Patrick and wife Joyce Jones of Norfolk, VA, 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service was Monday, July 25, at 12 noon at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43, at Glass Lake, Averill Park. Relatives and friends were invited and called at the Funeral Chapel on Monday prior to the service. Interment was in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in Petersburgh, NY.
If desired, donations in memory of Marcia E. Jones may be made to the Community Hospice of Rensselaer Co., 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY, 12144.
