Mount Lebanon Shaker Village Tours

The Shaker Museum And Library will open its North Family site at Mount Lebanon Shaker Village in New Lebanon to the public this summer season. Village hours are 11 am to 4pm Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from July 2 through September 5. Free guided tours will be offered at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm each day and leave from the North Family Granary. Visitors will learn the history of the Shakers at Mount Lebanon and what the Museum is doing to restore the North Family.
Special tours of the Shakers’ meetinghouse, herb garden, waterworks and more will be offered throughout the summer.

Please note that as the Museum is in the process of restoring the site in preparation for relocating the Museum from Old Chatham, public facilities are limited. The North Family at Mount Lebanon Shaker Village is located at 202 Shaker Road, New Lebanon, NY.
