New Lebanon Class Of 1961 Featured At Alumni Dinner

July 22, 2011 By eastwickpress

by David Flint
For the sixth year in a row the Alumni Dinner, catered by the Hitchin’ Post Michael DeBella (corrected 7/29/11) this year, was paid for by the generous Mr. Richard Burns, Class of ’49, who resides in Shelton, CT. Burns’ goal was to increase the turnout for the annual reunion to at least 200. This year, with 230 alumni attending, he more than achieved his goal.
The earliest class present was the Class of 1935 represented by Bud Schell. Mr. Schell was applauded for again providing the music for the evening in the person of the fabulous “One Man Band” Paul Slusar of Philmont.
