Nature Prints
On Friday, July 22, at 10:30 am use inks and a variety of leaves to make your own note cards or work of art. This is presented by the Dyken Pond Environmental Center.
Summer Preschool Story Hour
Preschoolers and young children (k-1) and their parents or care providers are invited to “One World, Many Stories” Story Hour on Tuesday, July 26, from 10 to 11 am when we will learn about children in Mexico. Those who attend will have the opportunity to discover what makes them different from children in other cultures by using simple tools to compare and contrast. With stories, group discussions and simple projects, participants will realize that in spite of our differences, we all have a story to tell! Please sign up at the Library or call 658-2927 in advance, as spaces will be limited.
Drop-In Crafts
Everyone in grades k – 6 is invited to stop by the Library on Wednesday, July 27, between 2:30 and 4:30 pm to make a Dream Catcher (Native American symbol of unity) to take home. All materials will be provided and samples will be on display prior to the sessions.
