The Berlin Rescue Squad is pleased to announce that recently two of its members have achieved the status of Emergency Medical Technician.
Jennifer Bates and her daughter Amanda Greiner spent the last six months traveling to Eagle Mills for their class. Under the leadership of Lynda Johnson they attended 41 class sessions which totaled approximately 123 hours. While taking their EMT class they learned extensive training in patient emergency care including, patient assessment, management of respiratory and cardiac emergencies, CPR and AED, bleeding control, stabilization/immobilization of injured bones and/or spine, advanced first aid and trauma care.
Jen and Amanda have been riding with us for a little while now and have been a pleasure to work with. Congratulations ladies!
