Alesea’s Angels Raises Over $6,000

August 26, 2011 By eastwickpress

On June 26, Alesea’s Angels held a benefit breakfast at the Berlin Fire House in Berlin.  Alesea’s Angels is a community group created to raise money to help the family of eight year old Alesea Phillips as she undergoes cancer treatment at Albany Medical Center.
All aspects of this fund-raiser, from the breakfast and auctions to the outpouring of contributions from the community, were a huge success. This success can only be attributed to the individuals and businesses that showed immeasurable generosity and kindness.
On behalf of Alesea’s Angels we would like to thank the community members, businesses, friends and family who donated their time, auction and breakfast items and for their monetary donations. With their help we were able to raise over $6,000 to defray some of the family’s medical expenses. Donations are still being accepted.  For more information, please contact Tammy Whitman.
To all of those that helped with this benefit, thank you! Your efforts truly made a difference. So many people helped with this event, no one has intentionally been left off the list.
