Coach Baker Fund Announces 2011 Scholarship Winners

The Coach Baker Fund and the Baker family are proud to announce the winners of the 2011 Coach Ken Baker Memorial Scholarship.  The scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from both Cambridge Central and Hoosick Falls Central schools who exemplify the values of Coach Ken Baker through their demonstration of respect, perseverance, hard work and a love of competition.  Each student is awarded a $1,000 one time scholarship to be used to assist them

with expenses as they transition from high school to college.
This year’s recipients are Bridget Cuddihy from Cambridge Central and Michael Brewster from Hoosick Falls. Bridget will be attending SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Michael will be attending St. Lawrence University. Bridget and Michael will also be recognized in an upcoming reception hosted by the Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region which is the administrator of the funds for the Coach Baker Fund.  Congratulations to both winners.
