Please help Julie get back on her feet. Due to a sudden illness Julie was left with double vision. Julie is now unable to drive and has numerous doctor bills. She was hospitalized at Albany Med. for six days, sent home without a definite diagnosis and does not have one to date. Julie has a lesion on her brain that has left her paralyzed on the left side of her face. She was told they are almost certain it is MS. The lesion Julie has that makes the doctors believe it is MS or a stroke is on the 7th cranial nerve also causing Bell’s palsy. If that was not enough she was told she has an aneurysm. The doctors said the aneurysm may not be anything to worry about. They want to get the MS or stroke taken care of before they worry about the aneurysm. Julie has two teenage boys and a 15 month old to care for. Ryan, her very active 15 month old, goes to daycare during the day until his dad, Ray Irick, gets home from work.
Julie is hoping to get a second opinion with a new doctor in hopes she can soon move forward.
Any donation to help out Julie and her family would be greatly appreciated. Please attend the fund-raiser for Julie at the basement of the Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, August 6, from 1 to 3 pm. The Brewster Brothers Band will be there along with Dave Sutton, Shari, Krissy and Wayne. We may get to see some ballet from students of Miss Olivia’s. There will be games for children, food, a 50/50 raffle and baskets to try your luck with. Please stop by! Thanks for your support.
