Free Outdoor Concert In North Chatham

The North Chatham Library will present an outdoor concert with the Last Chance Band on Saturday, August 27, at 7 pm at 305 Bunker Hill Road. In case of rain, the concert will be postponed. BYO-Carry In-Carry out.
Join us for a fun outdoor concert with the Last Chance Band. The band will perform an eclectic mixture of listening and dance music, including music by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Hank Williams, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan and many Blues artists including Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, BB King, etc. The band has played together for about three years; each band member has played for many years before that with backgrounds as varied as their music.  Steve Dietemann plays bass guitar and has played with 8 Foot River, Rasah & the Eels. Darren Todd plays guitar and sings lead vocals and has played with the Arlo Guthrie Band and Melodrome. Steve Elling plays guitar and mandolin and has played with Stray and jammed with Yoko Lennon, and Ira Grable plays drums and has played with Deafened by Love. Each has played with many musicians, bands and national and local acts over the years.
This free concert is presented by the North Chatham Library. Come hear some lively music in a pleasant outdoor setting at 305 Bunker Hill Road, ½ mile north of North Chatham. Bring your own  chair/blanket, bug spray, optional refreshments. Call the Library at 766-3211 for more information.
