The always popular annual exhibit of Historic display boards has returned to the Hoosick Falls Health Center. Depicting area scenes of days gone by, they were designed and crafted by Philip Leonard, Town Historian, and Charles Filkins of the Louis Miller Museum. The 19 boards include Town of Hoosick Churches, Faces of Entertainment, Factories and Stores, Residential and Science Views, Faces of Industry, Town of Hoosick Bridges, Local Homes of Yesterday and Today, Aerial Views of Hoosick Falls at the State Line, Stores Remembered in Hoosick Falls, Fifty Years Ago – 1957, Factories at the Falls, Grandma Moses, Evolution of the Bridges of the Town of Hoosick, Rev. Edith Grace Kennard, Craig Reynolds, Post Cards from the Past Downtown Hoosick Falls, 1952 Hoosick Auto Dealers, Fashions 1861 – 1920, Music in the Town of Hoosick and the Walter A. Wood Mowing and Reaping Machine Co. Annual Catalogue Covers. The exhibit runs through Labor Day.
The Hoosick Falls Health Center is an 82 bed not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility serving the area over 90 years.
