Local Runner Show Well In The Run For The Roses At GLSP

The 26th annual Run for the Roses 5K race was held in Grafton Lakes State Park on Sunday, August 14. The race benefits the Grafton Town Library. The Park and The Library would like to thank all sponsors and participants, for without their support this event would not be possible. The results of the race are as follows:
Overall Results:
1st place: Joel Frost-Tift of Averill Park, with a time of 16:09
2nd place: Eric Young of Latham, with a time of 16:29
3rd place: Kahlil Scott Jr. of Cohoes, with a time of 17:07
Female 1st place overall: Megan Derby of Cropseyville, with a time of 20:44
