Stephentown Youth Commission: CD Fish

August 5, 2011 By eastwickpress

The Stephentown Youth Commission Summer Program is well under way and the children are having a blast!  This summer the children have been visited by our local fire department, teachers from Berlin Elementary School and Unified Family Services from the Rensselaer County Department of Youth. The children also make weekly trips to the Stephentown Memorial Library, create a craft or snack daily and participate in a variety of  games and activities each day. During the program the children created Rainbow Fish as a part of their Under The Sea theme. The program will be culminated by all of the children pitching in to create an Under The Sea float to be displayed in the Stephentown Community Day Parade on September 18 which is followed by the Stephentown Muster.
For more information on the Stephentown Youth Commission or their summer program, please send email to stephentownyouth@aol.com or visit www.townofstephentown.org/youthcommission.
