The Berlin Modified Girls Soccer Team opened its season with a win against the visiting Rensselaer team. Goals were scored by the offensive line which was lead by Vanessa Goyer, Elysia Mars and Kaelea Forrest. Jordan Cahill and Brianna Boomhower played their positions well. Gabby Mazzeo also had an outstanding game. The final score was 5-0. The defense kept the ball out of danger, and there was only one shot on goal by the visiting team. The team worked together well and a team effort made the win.
