Grand Fun At The Pumpkinpalooza

2011 5k Run/Walk Results

James Preite, 47, of North Adams, was the winner of the Third Annual Pumpkinpalooza 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. He finished the course in 18 minutes and 24 seconds. John Guzzi, 34, of Pownal, took second with a time of 20:06. Katherine Danforth, 16, of Hoosick Falls was the first female finisher with a time of 25:50. Michael Rosenthal, 68, of Arlington, VT, won the Walker category.
Top finishers in the age categories were Justin Gaines and Sarah Bissonette (14 and under), Ryan Perkins and Katherine Danforth (15-19), Ring Merrill and Theresa Hamilton (20-29), John Guzzi and Jessica Floyd (30-39), James Preite and Kate DiMaggio (40-49), Scott Broacey and Eileen Taber (50-59) and Joseph Staubach and Pat Zemianek (60 +).
