On a beautiful August day under four large tents, the Annual Resident and family picnic was held in the courtyard of the Hoosick Falls Health Center. With the largest turnout ever, approximately 350 meals were served to residents, family members and staff. Food Service Director Jane Richardson and her staff prepared and served steamers

with drawn butter, BBQ chicken, BBQ baby back ribs, smoky baked beans, fresh butter and sugar corn on the cob from Moses Farm Stand, a variety of homemade salads, chips, rolls and butter followed by a dessert of white and chocolate iced cake.
Entertainment was provided by Al Mosher on the keyboard and Tom Gerbino on the sax and clarinet.
This event takes much planning and work by several Departments and many people to make it such a success year after year.
The Hoosick Falls Health Center is an 82 bed not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility serving the area for 97 years.
