At St. Mary’s Academy in Hoosick Falls, the Preschool – 3 class celebrated Curious George’s 70th birthday. With their teacher Miss Lori Christoffersen the children shared stories about Curious George, practiced positional words with red and yellow balloons and, of course, ate bananas for snack. A mini show and tell time satisfied some of the curiosity about their new friends. With monkey masks in place the children danced to the rhyme Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. All in all, National Curiosity Day proved more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
