Junior Brad “Bowzer” Burns busts loose for a 90 yard touchdown romp in the second quarter during the HFCS season opener. The Panthers went on to defeat a totally overmatched Corinth team 54 - 13. The Panthers held a halftime lead of 54 - 0. Burns and senior Tanner Williams would combine for 257 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns in the first half. Burns’ 90 yard run was the longest in HFCS history. The second team would play the entire second half giving them a chance to gain valuable game experience.
