Register Now For Pumpkinpalooza 5K

Registration is open for the Hoosick Pumpkinpalooza 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 24, 2011. The race is sponsored by Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. Start and finish is in Wood Park on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. The course runs through the Village of Hoosick Falls and includes hills, turns and a lovely stretch along the Hoosic River. The race will be held rain or shine.
To register online, visit www.hoosickyouth.org and follow the links to the Pumpkinpalooza event page. Online payment can be made via PayPal. To register by mail, print a registration form and send it in with your payment. Forms are also available at the Hoosick Area Youth Center, 115 Church Street, Hoosick Falls, during normal operating hours.
There is a discount for registering in advance and the first 50 paid registrants will receive an official race T-shirt. Only those who register by September 5 will be guaranteed their choice of shirt sizes, so register as soon as possible.
Race-day registration opens at 7:30 a.m. The race will begin at 9 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in both the run category. Medals will be awarded to top two walkers and to RUNNERS in several age categories. All participants are required to sign a waiver/release form.

Hoosick Pumpkinpalooza is a pride and tradition initiative organized by the Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition (HAYC3). Details on the event are available at www.hoosickyouth.org.
