Stephentown’s Sensei Fish Promoted To Eighth Degree Black Belt

On behalf of Stephentown Self Defense Systems and Green Island Academy Of Martial Arts we would all like to congratulate Sensei Fish on his promotion to an 8th Degree Black Belt. Master John Izzo of John Izzo’s Okinawan Karate has officially promoted him as of September 14. Achieving the rank of 8th Degree Black Belt Sensei Fish is now considered a Master.

and Green Island Academy of Martial Arts. In addition to being an assistant manager of his former school, John Izzo’s Okinawan Karate, Sensei Fish has competed in and officiated as head referee in many karate tournaments throughout the Capital Region. Sensei Fish has had the privilege of training with world renowned martial artists such as Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, Jeff Speakman and Ed Parker.
Sensei Fish is a well respected Christian family man and has been very devoted to his family, friends, instructors and students. He teaches his students self-confidence, self-control, self-discipline and how to defend themselves if need be. He teaches each individual how to work to within their own capabilities. We are all very blessed to have him in our lives.
