Beulah Heil

Hoosick Falls – Beulah (Boo) Heil, 91, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. She had resided at the Hoosick Falls Health Center in Hoosick Falls, NY, and formerly in Troy, NY, Venice, FL, and Ossining, NY. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Heil.
Born on June 25, 1920, in Pasadena, CA, Beulah was the daughter of the late J. Oakley and Bernice (Craig) Hobby. She was employed by the Ossining school system working for the Board of Education. Beulah enjoyed playing cards and games with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Childs and husband Donald of West Hoosick, NY, her son, William Heil and wife Julia of Greensboro, GA, her grandchildren, Todd Heil and wife Susan, Joe Heil and wife Mia, Donald G. Childs and wife Heidi and Lisa Malthouse and Sean, as well as seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY, 12090. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army through the funeral home.
