Fill The Bus Is A Huge Success

October 28, 2011 By eastwickpress

The Hoosick Area Church Association joined with Hoosick Falls Central School to “Fill the Bus.” This weekend long drive to collect non-perishable food and personal care products started with the Homecoming game at HFCS on Friday. On Saturday food was collected at the Hoosick Soccer Fields, and on Sunday the bus moved to Main Street.
Through the wonderful support and generosity of the Hoosick Falls community 1,187 pounds of food was collected.
A special thank you goes out to Graphitex for donating the sign for the bus and to the HFCS administration and bus drivers for helping with such a worthy cause.

The bus moved around during Homecoming weekend so people could donate food all through the Hoosick area. Photo courtesy of the Hoosick Area Church Association.
