Joan C. Crowley

Berlin – Joan C. Crowley passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, with her husband Dean by her side. Born on September 27, 1948, in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Nacey and Gloria Nacey Buchanan. Joan was a retired nurse working for various agencies throughout the years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Joan especially loved traveling with her husband Dean to Italy and Ireland.
Joan is the beloved wife of Dean Crowley. She is the devoted mother of Craig D’Angelo of Colonie, NY, and David and wife Carrie Galluzzo of Brunswick, NY. She is the cherished grandmother of Mark and Samuel D’Angelo and Dawson and Delaney Galluzzo. Also surviving are her brothers, James E. and Philip G. Nacey. Joan will also be missed by her faithful canine companion, “Jake.”
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours were on Wednesday, October 26, from 5 to 8 pm at the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home in Colonie.
