Meet The Hoosick Republican Candidates

The Town of Hoosick Republican party will host a Meet the Candidates Night on October 22 at the Hoosick Falls Country Club. Come and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal including barbecue pork and roast turkey. Following dinner, listen to the candidates’ points of view and ask questions that you have concerning the Town of Hoosick and Rensselaer County law enforcement.
Dinner will be served at 6 pm with speakers and music to follow. Candidates invited to attend are incumbent Keith Cipperly, Town Supervisor, incumbent Mark Surdam, Town Council, Bruce Patire, seeking his first term as Town Councilman, incumbent Richard Whalen, Town Justice, incumbent Sheriff Jack Mahar, Joel Abelove, seeking his first term as District Attorney, incumbent Chris Hummel, Surrogate Court Judge, and the candidates for Supreme Court Judge, the Honorable Catherine Cholakis and Guy Roemer. Several other elected officials will also be attending, including Kathy Jimino, County Executive, Frank Merola, County Clerk, Stan Brownell and Lester Goodermote, County Legislators and more.
This is your chance to hear what makes this year’s Republican team so strong. The candidates all have your best interest at heart and look forward to working hard for you and your family. Please come and show your support for this dynamite team of candidates.
Donations are $15 per person or $25 per couple. Tickets are available through any Committee person or by calling Cindy at 518-322-8685.
