There are no contested elections in Petersburgh this year. The Petersburgh Democrats did not nominate any candidates for Town offices.
Petersburgh Town Supervisor Peter Schaaphok is not running for re-election, and the Republican Party has nominated Siegfried Krahforst for the job. Richard Snyder is running unopposed for re-election to his seat on the Town Board. The other Town Council seat was the one to which Ray Broadwell was elected, which has been filled by David Green by appointment of the Town Board since Broadwell resigned. Neither Broadwell nor Green is running for it, and the Republican Party has nominated David Alderman for the position.
Town Justice Bob Sears is not running for re-election, and the Republican Party has nominated Amy Manchester for the post. When she is elected as Town Justice she will have to resign her Town Board seat. She has served two years of a four year term on the Town Board, so the remaining two years of her term will be filled by Town Board appointment.
Emily Harrison is running unopposed for re-election as Town Tax Collector.
