On Friday, October 21, the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center is hosting The Nellies. Although this group normally plays with a full band, this event will feature a special performance by The Nellies’ co-founders, Peggy Lecuyer and Karen Ann Gilpin. With Peggy on mandolin and Karen on guitar, this duo will entertain you with their original bluegrass/country tunes and beautiful harmonies. Don’t miss The Nellies Duet from 7 to 9 pm. As always, photography and sketching of the artists by the audience is encouraged. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission is $5 per person and $8 per couple. Children under 18 are admitted free.
