Community Alliance Church Mission Trip To The DR

November 11, 2011 By eastwickpress

Five Hoosick Falls residents from the Community Alliance Church traveled with five others from the Pine Knolls Church in South Glens Falls, NY, to the Dominican Republic the week of October 22. Team members ministered in Punta Cana and various churches near San Pedro. The Gospel message was brought to children and their parents through puppets and song. Other outreach activities included crafts for children and women, seminars on reading to children and a men’s luncheon. In addition to visiting various Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches, the team also spent time at Compassion International and Youth With A Mission sites.

Pictured are Rev. Jonathan Youngmann, Ken and Robbin White and Bill and Debbie Tudor, former Community Alliance pastor Rev. Bill Church and his wife Susan and Lori Higley, Steve Larli and Anne Marie Van Dixhorn from the Pine Knolls Church. Team members are available to share with the local community about the trip. Please contact Rev. Youngmann at Community Alliance Church to schedule a presentation. Photo courtesy of Deborah Tudor.
