Rose M. Liporace

Hoosick Falls – Rose M. Liporace, 94, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT.
Born on July 7, 1917, in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Phillipo and Josa (Metallo) Graniero. Rose received her education in Pittsfield where she met her husband Joseph Liporace, who pre-deceased her. They moved to Hoosick Falls, NY, where she later opened the Charm Shop. Rose loved to dance and was an avid bowler and bridge player.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Liporace and wife Donna of Hoosick Falls, her granddaughters, Wendy Liporace, Tammy and husband Brian Jenkins, Shannon Liporace, Kathi and husband Shaun Mould and Kristin Walsh as well as seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Rose is pre-deceased by her husband, her son, Francis, and her brother, J. Richard Graniero.
At her request services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Danforth Adult Home Activity Fund through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, NY, who are handling the arrangements.
