There is still time to register for the Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition’s Annual Youth Basketball Program. This fun, recreational program, geared toward improving skills and teamwork through weekly practices and league games, is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Practices for grades 3-8 began this week. The program for kindergarten through second grade girls and boys begins December 12. The boys seventh and eighth grade travel team begins November 19.
All players must be pre-registered. Registration forms are available online at www.hoosickyouth.org and payment can be made through PayPal. Parents can also register their children in person at 115 Church Street any weekday afternoon from 3 to 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm.
There is a fee to participate. The fee includes the 13 week program and play-offs, practice time, team T-shirt and end of season celebration. Financial assistance may be available for those in need.
