In Stephentown Larry Eckhardt, running unopposed with Republican endorsement, was reelected with 457 votes for a second two year term. The two Council seats were won by Bill Jennings, Democrat incumbent, with 380 votes and newcomer John Meekins, the Republican Party candidate, registered Conservative, with 333 votes. Republican Jason Guilbeault and Democrat Alice Caton trailed in the Town Council race with 288 and 244 votes respectively.
Stephanie Wagar, appointed to the Town Clerk position to replace Patricia Gallup who resigned in September, won election to that post with 395 votes, beating out her Democrat opponent, Tammy Whitman, who received 251 votes.
Aldie Goodermote, endorsed by both parties for Highway Superintendent, won re-election with 606 votes. Ruth Rieger, running unopposed for Tax Collector, was also re-elected.
