Bells and Motley Consort of Olden Music, Dance and Storytelling with John and Sondra Bromka will be presenting a festive holiday musical program “Christmas Long Ago and Far Away” at the North Chatham Library on Saturday, December 17, at 3 pm.
Sondra and John Bromka’s versatile accomplishments in European and American historic music, dance and literary traditions have inspired audiences for over 25 years. Theirs is an extensive collection of historic and folkloric instruments and resources.
This program features seasonal airs, songs and traditions. Instrument
s include the hurdy gurdy, French and Northumbrian bagpipes, Celtic harp, Swedish nykleharpa, Irish pennywhistle and much more.
