Make An Investment In Hoosick’s Youth

December 16, 2011 By eastwickpress

HAYC3 (Hoosick Area Youth Center & Community Coalition) is seeking support from the community to continue its programming for youth and families.  Although HAYC3 received a federal grant this year, the funds are restricted and cannot be used for recreation programs, after school activities or basic facility needs such as heat, electricity and maintenance.  Community investment is needed to keep the center operating at its current capacity.
Now is the perfect time to make an investment in Hoosick’s youth by supporting the Youth Center.  All donations made to our 501 (c)(3) organization before December 31st, 2011 are tax-deductible this year.  All donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes. Donation can be mailed to HAYC3, P.O. Box 492, Hoosick Falls, NY,  12090 or online at www.hoosickyouth.org.
Each year hundreds of children, teens, families and community members utilize the Youth Center and its programs.  No child is ever denied access because of an inability to pay, and many families rely on the center for after school care an family support.
“We need the support of community members like you to ensure we have the resources needed to keep our programs going…keep our youth engaged…inspire community members of all ages… and most importantly, build a community that is truly connected,” said HAYC3 Board President Mike Baker in the recently distributed “Report to Our Community” brochure.  “Now, more then ever, every dollar you invest in HAYC3 is truly an investment in the spirit, pride and future of our community.  Please help  us in our work to keep Hoosick a community to which we are all proud to belong.”
