was Shawn Nicholson, 212-599. Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Joe Wolfrum, with a perfect game, 300-781, Mikaela Marbot 224-648, Bryan Callahan 239-640, Josh Conn 213-602, Mitch Andrew 202-582 and Josh McCart 214-523. Top J.V. scores were Stephen Surdam 235-622, Jordan Colvin 258-594, Ken Marbot 219-560 and Charlie Stowell 200-518.
“Joe broke out of his mini-slump with a great 300-781, and Mikaela had one of her best match days with a 224-648 while Bryan had one of his usual good days with a 239-640. Our match total of 3,803 was the highest for the year along with our third game total of 1,353 being our best single game total of the year. These are the scores I’ve been waiting for that I knew that we could bowl when the entire team bowled together. After we had a good day of practice on Wednesday, I was hoping that the good scoring would continue into our match today. Not only did we have a lot of strikes, but they all did a good job making their spares. I hope we can keep up the good scoring in our two home matches next week against Luzerne and Whitehall on Tuesday and Wednesday,” said Coach Lang.
On Tuesday, December 20, the Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Hadley-Luzerne by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls is now 27-1 and Hadley-Luzerne is now 1-23. Hadley-Luzerne was led by Frank Mosher with a 209-539. Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were Joe Wolfrum 266-707, Bryan Callahan 227-652, Mitch Andrew 253-631, Josh Conn 208-593 and Josh McCart 219-583. Top J.V scores for Hoosick Falls were Stephen Surdam 222-606, Jordan Colvin 211-544, Ken Marbot 204-541 and Charlie Stowell 200-523.
“This was the best that we have bowled on our lanes this year. Joe, Bryan and Mitch had another great day. We have another home match on Wednesday against Whitehall before we have our Christmas break. I hope the team can continue to get these great scores that they have been bowling the last two weeks,” Coach Lang said.
The Panthers defeated Whitehall on Wednesday, December 21, by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls now has a record of 31-1, and Whitehall now has a record of 6-18.  Top bowler for Whitehall was Rich Tisi with a 233-609.  Top bowlers for Hoosick Falls were  Josh McCart 279-697, Josh Conn 215-636, Joe Wolfrum 259-614, Bryan Callahan 236-601, Mitch Andrew 202-591 and Mikaela Marbot 209-534.  Top J.V. bowlers were  Jordan Colvin 214-565, Ken Marbot 201-547 and Stephen Surdam 204-543.  “We got another good win on our home lanes with some good scoring. Josh McCart had a great day with his 279-697, and Josh Conn had a very consistent triple with all 200 games for a nice 636.  We are going into the Christmas break with a good start to our season.  The team must continue to work hard because we have some tough matches coming up in January,”  said Coach Lang.
