Stephen Sawyer, a 2009 graduate of Hoosick Falls Central School, was recently selected as Blue Jacket of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of FY2011 at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, VA. This award is given to the command’s top performing sailor each quarter. In a letter of commendation, Stephen was acknowledged for superior performance in the areas of Anti-Terrorism Measures, Explosive Escorts and Training and Qualification of Fellow Patrolmen. Stephen performs security duties as a Navy Master-At-Arms at Yorktown.
