Do you remember your mother or grandmother busy in the kitchen preparing her favorite recipes? Do you remember the colorful aprons she used to wear?
Come and see the collection of aprons on display at the Berlin Library, courtesy of Cherry Plain resident, Susan Womersley. Bring in your prized apron to display, too, and record a favorite recipe or apron story in our Apron/Recipe Journal. And to top off the month of aprons, bake one of the beloved desserts that you remember from your childhood and bring it to a “tasting” contest on Sunday, February 19, at 3 pm. Entry forms are available at the Library. All are welcome to participate in this tasting and to be judges of the best dessert.
Want to make an apron? Dianne Mosher is teaching an apron class on Tuesday, February 21, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Library. Entry forms are available at the Library.
Stop by and see the aprons on display beginning February 6. Come and join your family and friends to judge the wonderful desserts on the 19th.
