Berlin CSD Annual Winter Clothing/Coat Drive

January 26, 2012 By eastwickpress

The Berlin Central School District Forum on Winter is once more sponsoring the yearly Winter Clothing/Coat Drive on Friday, February 3, from 2 to 4 pm in the Berlin Middle/High School Cafeteria. Previously known as the “Clothing Swap,” this year’s Clothing/Coat Drive will continue the tradition of giving families access to new or gently worn clothing. Families, students and Berlin CSD staff are invited to donate clothing and take clothing items that they need. Donations can be brought in during the actual Drive or ahead of time but are not necessary in order to come to the Drive and take clothing. The Clothing/Coat Drive is occurring not only through the efforts of the Forum on Winter but through the efforts of local Boy Scout Troop 222 and local Girl Scouts.
For more information, contact Melissa Putterman Hoffmann, Berlin CSD social worker, at 658-2515 x227.
