Cambridge Area Branch Of The Woman’s NF & G Inducts Officers

The Cambridge Area Branch of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden met on Thursday, December 8, at Mama’s (formerly Albie’s) Restaurant for their traditional Christmas party luncheon. At that time the following members were inducted as officers for 2012-13 in a ceremony conducted by Club member Sylvia Wilson. They are Ellie Fairclough – Corresponding Secretary, Gail Turi – Herbinites Chair, Yvonne Lynds – Vice-President, Joan Ann Smith – President, Jane Kopta – Treasurer and Mary Lee Weeks – Recording Secretary.
Members decorated a Christmas tree with hats and mittens which were donated to the Cambridge Central School as was food for the Salem and Hoosick Falls food pantries.
The next meeting will be on the third Thursday of March 2012. New members and guests are always welcome.
